Update 2
Here is a free VPN workaround that is easy to set up and should help to resolve the issues for you until a proper solution has been found.
Hi all,
I have been looking for free reliable VPN solutions that people could use for the time being until the underlying issue has been properly solved.
One service I came across is
wtfast.com/. Other users have reported that it worked for them.
It's very easy to install and gives you a
30 day free trial without having to enter any payment details etc. Those 30 days are plenty and it's almost certain that by the, the routing issues have been resolved such that no VPN client will be needed any more.
In the client, when clicking on the small arrow on the play button, you can manually select the VPN server that is being used. If you still get disconnects on the "automatic" setting we'd recommend to try out different servers based in the USA, such as Dallas, Washington or possibly others. If you find a server that is definitely working for you, please report back.
Note that this is not an endorsement of the above service, we have no personal or business connection to that company.

Orignal Post
Hey there,
we get regular reports of people, in particular from South America, seeing issues with high pings and latency and resulting lag.
If you are affected, it would be great if you could do the following and send it to me via private message here in the forums.
1. In windows, type "cmd" in the search and type tracert 185.218.131.122 followed by the enter key. Copy and paste the results into the private message
2. Tell us your IP address. You can find it here whatismyipaddress.com/
3. Are you currently affected by ping / high latency issues?
4. If you are, when did the problems first start?
5. In what country to you live?
6. Who is your Internet Service Provider?
7. Have you tried using a VPN service to fix the problems and if so, did it work?
Thanks for your support! Posted by Korn 4 years ago (Source)
