Just to avoid a misunderstanding, the focus fire protection (anti-zerg shield) already depends on the number of attackers. The percentage increases the more players you take damage from.

It's also quite strong already, such that the maximum damage you effectively can take caps out quite fast. Ultimately, though, if it is 10 against 1 and you get caught, there is little you can do. Consider this though: if we balanced the game in such a way that getting away in a 1 vs 10 situation where you are already caught then ganking across the board - especially with smaller groups or solo - would become close to impossible.
